The role
As the Academy’s Senior Analyst, you’ll have excellent analytical and communication skills and a track record of delivering results, which you’ll use to deliver a diverse and innovative portfolio of analytical projects, both qualitative and quantitative.
Working most closely with the policy team, you’ll take a proactive and collaborative approach to tailor quantitative and qualitative analysis to address the most pressing issues across our policy portfolio. From how to achieve net zero, to addressing the engineering skills gap, you’ll play a key role in finding creative ways for robust analysis to strengthen the insights, evidence and impact of our policy projects.
We’ll look to you to raise the profile of analysis within the organisation. You’ll be the internal expert on analysis and will get to apply your skills across many different activities, from working with international colleagues advising on survey design, to exploring longitudinal data on engineers, you’ll help us become more confident users of analysis.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have a broad knowledge in a range of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and be confident in applying them in different contexts across unfamiliar topics. You’ll be a skilled communicator, able to summarise complex information in an accessible, engaging way to a range of audiences. You must be able to link the analytical work with the bigger picture, and you’ll need to be great at collaborating.

Our light, spacious head office is based in a fantastic location in central London with views over St James’s Park and close to the West End. We operate hybrid, flexible working practices with a baseline for office based working of a mandatory weekly team day plus further days each week as required for the role and the Academy.

A Certificate of Sponsorship may be assigned, and a Skilled Worker visa application will only be made once an applicant has been successfully and conditionally offered a role. Employment will not be confirmed until the Skilled Worker visa application has been formally approved and communicated by the Home Office. Additionally, a potential offer of employment may be made to candidates who already hold a visa permitting work for the Academy in a specific role. As with Skilled Worker sponsorship, such employment may be time-limited depending on the nature of the visa.
